World Agricultural Output Growth Continues to Slow, Reaching Lowest Rate in Six Decades (Amber Waves)
Real-Time Index: $177.24 (+0.48) -- The RTI (7-day cash feeder cattle average) is $6.54 LOWER than the nearby futures ($183.78). The largest steer string sold on Monday was 294 steers (858#) from Joplin, Missouri at $187.25. The average price for the top 10 steer strings sold on Monday was $180.75

Another New High... Without a ton of fanfare, last week negotiated fed cattle prices moved to a new high, the 5-area steer price averaging $156.42. That is $16/cwt higher than a year ago and the second highest in history for any early December (The Beef)
